Bus Eireann in Ireland has introduced free Wi-Fi on most routes

Bus Eireann the Irish branch of Eurolines offers now free Wi-Fi on 50 more inter-city coaches. Now travelling around Ireland passengers on most of its Expressway inter-city routes can benefit from free Wi-Fi.

- 50% of Expressway fleet now has free Wi-Fi
- 190 city, commuter and inter-city vehicles are now equipped with free Wi-Fi
- Over 16,000 people a month using free Wi-Fi on Bus Éireann services
Bus Eireann introduced this facility on August 6, but the carrier intends to roll-out free Wi-Fi to the rest of its Expressway coaches by the end of 2012.
If you are planning a journey from the UK to the Republic of Ireland, then you have the opportunity to travel by coach equipped with this facility. So now checking e-mails, downloading apps and catching up with friends on Facebook and Twitter while travelling on the bus and coach is becoming increasingly popular with over 16,000 customers a month using Bus Éireann’s free Wi-Fi service.
That's not all, now some seats are equipped with power sockets, so your laptop or other device can work non-stop during the journey. That’s fabulous.
The additional 50 Wi-Fi enabled coaches operate on the following Expressway inter-city routes:
- Waterford-Dublin Airport
- Limerick-Dublin Airport
- Dublin-Donegal
- Dublin-Letterkenny
- Dublin-Derry
- Galway-Limerick-Cork
- Galway-Derry
- Rosslare-Tralee
- Waterford-Limerick
- Dublin-Ballina; Sligo-Dublin
