An alternative to the Euro Rail Passes
Posted in Budget travel
I did not know what to write on the blog today, probably too much free time does not affect positively the functioning of the brain.
But I came up with the idea to write about the Eurolines Pass. I know I've often written about this Eurolines’ product but due to the upcoming summer, you might want to delve into details.
What really is a Eurolines Pass?
The Eurolines Pass is a touring product enabling the customer to travel between 50 of Europe’s best cities at their own pace. It’s available in 15 and 30 day formats and, whilst the first journey must be reserved, subsequent travel can be made on a standby basis if seats are available, although customers are recommended to reserve subsequent journeys at least 4 days in advance at the Eurolines office in the city of departure. A charge of 6 Euros or £4 is made for each journey booked after the first. Eurolines Pass tickets issued by agents must be exchanged for a Eurolines Pass at Eurolines travel shops at either The Colonnades, Victoria or Dover before travel (More details about sale and collection points below). The currency of the Eurolines Pass runs continuously from the date of the first, booked, journey and that date also determines the seasonal price to be charged.
